The Jazzschool was established in Singapore to introduce a higher level of performance and vocational education to aspiring jazz and contemporary music students. The jazzschool offers ensemble workshops, online tuition and public performances that, collectively, provide a comprehensive learning experience.

Active learning plays an important role in the development of all music students and The Jazzschool puts a strong emphasis on building students confidence in performance techniques and leadership skills.

The Jazz School is directed by UK jazz pianist Duncan McKee, who teaches jazz studies at LaSalle College of the Arts and at UWCSEA. He is an enthusiastic educator and a strong believer in experiential learning.
